"FRIENDS AND LOVERS"
The summer of 2009 has found me listening to boyfriend and wedding talk, visiting the
bridal stores, choosing gifts and silver wrapping paper and ribbons, reading sentimental
cards, attending parties at pool side and discussing not so secret loves. Since life
influences art, this series will have to be called "Friends and Lovers", loving (or not)
couples or friends observing lovers, or painted summer memories from a distant past.
These paintings offer a glimpse of heartfelt emotions but the viewer is asked to provide the
ending. No experience necessary and all ages can apply in the love department.
